保井智貴の新作展覧会-calm-を、泊昭雄氏がアートディレクターとして南青山に新たにオープンしたBOOK GALLERY WALLにて開催します。保井は静謐な空間を生み出す彫刻作品で注目を集めるアーティスト。乾漆という日本古来の伝統的な技法を用い、漆、麻布、石、螺鈿などの自然素材で、人物や動物などをモチーフに、等身大で制作された作品が独特な存在感を放っている。今回の展覧会では「人物」を彫刻家である保井智貴が新作を中心に、「衣服」を旅情ファッションブランドSTOREが、「音楽」をサウンドデザイナーの小野雄紀が、それぞれが今回の展覧会にあわせて制作。Wallが発行し続けた書籍が密集する空間に、静謐な世界を創造します。また今回の展覧会に合わせて作品集-calm-が同時発売されます。（発行：WALL）

Tomotaka Yasui will be holding an exhibition of his new works -calm- at the BOOK GALLERY WALL newly opened by an art director L.A.Tomari in Minami-Aoyama. Tomotaka Yasui's life-sized human and animal sculptures made using an old Japanese traditional technique called KANSHITU and natural materials such as URUSHI ( lacquer tree ), hemp cloths, stones, and mother-of-pearls, creates a very special and unique atmosphere. At this exhibition, Tomotaka collaborates with fashion brand shop STORE and sound designer Yuuki Ono each expressing their motif of "Human", "Clothing" and "Music", within the calm and peaceful space filled with many books published by WALL. An anthology booklet -calm- ( published by WALL ) will be released for sale at the same time.
