Ayumu Fushiguro graduated from Tama Art Univ, department of painting, print course in 2003.
Ayumu's style has been well known as the painting which looks like fantastic shadow play.

In recent years, he has been handling the clay to create the surreal vision like the same process to use oil-colors.
We call his stoneware works "three dimensional painting".
In this show, we will release his latest 60 three-dimensional paintings, 10 new oil paintings
as the result of the restoration to his oil painting.
Also we will show his masterpiece oil paintings made in 2011, before he started working with clay.

"People ask me "do you like birds?"
― I think I like not the bird itself but the silhouette of it.
I like to adopt the silhouette of the bird into my painting.
It seems like I want to paint something shaped like a bird."

Don't miss "2011-2016 Featuring Birds" which covers the whole process of Fushiguro's creation so far.
