Holly Farrell is a Canadian painter who lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
A self-taught painter, she has been painting professionally since 1995.
Holly's work is included in many collections throughout North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia.
Notable recent collection by Bank of Montreal, the Louise-Dreyfus Family Collection, Wires Jollery LLP, and Sony Music, Japan.

Farrell is known for paintings that depict the feelings of use, applies to things found at home or everywhere in our lives.
All of them come with a sense of ease and relief through their delicate dreamy colors, three-dimensional appearance and texture.

"I am always drawn to the familiar.
My memories of the stories often are more intense than the stories themselves, a by-product of a vivid imagination or an intense need to flee reality."

Her works may appear a mere reproduction at first glance, but there is something novel about them.
They are not realist ; they are something more than mere photographs. At the same time, they elaborately relate the feeling of "being well-worn".

In this exhibition, we'll release her 3 latest book paintings(children's books, cookbooks and medical books)and 3 portrait paintings of Tammy dolls. Don't miss Holly Farrell's new solo show, "Doll and Book Paintings".
